The light source of edge lit LED panel is distributed on the side of the panel lamp and illuminated through the light guide plate.The light source of back lit LED panel lamp is evenly distributed on the back plate and directly illuminated through the diffusion plate.

How to select LED flat panel or identify the quality:

1. The overall "power factor of lighting": If the power factor is low, it means that the driving power supply and circuit design are not good, which will greatly reduce the service life of lighting! If the power factor is low, no matter how good the lamp bead is used, the service life of lighting will not be long. The power factor can be detected by "power factor meter". Generally, the power factor of LED flat panel lamp for export is required to be above 0.85. If the power factor is lower than 0.5, it should be said that unqualified products or garbage products not only have short service life, but also the actual power consumption is about twice as high as the nominal value, that is to say, compared with ordinary energy-saving lamps, there is no power saving at all! Therefore, this is why LED flat panel lamps need to be equipped with high-quality and high-efficiency driving power supply! 2. Lighting cooling conditions -- materials and structure: LED lighting cooling is also very important. The main heat dissipation materials used are copper, aluminum and PC. The heat conduction of copper is better than that of aluminum, and the heat conduction of aluminum is better than that of PC. now, the most commonly used heat sink material is aluminum, the best one is insert aluminum, the second is car aluminum (aluminum profile, extrusion aluminum), the worst one is cast aluminum, and insert aluminum has the best heat dissipation effect!
